The 2024 Midwest Haz Mat Conference will be hosted IN PERSON. We are excited to also offer The Meter Guys pre-conference workshop on Thursday, May 2, 2024. There will be a separate registration process for this pre-conference workshop and it will be strictly limited to the first 30 individuals to register for the conference. You will receive an email with the pre-conference registration link and password shortly after you register for the conference itself.
The conference opening program will start at 8:00 AM on Thursday, May 3, 2024. The breakout workshops will follow at 1:00 PM and continue all day on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The conference features four main program presentations and 42 workshops with first-class haz mat training!
The Early Bird registration fee is only $360.00 if paid before March 15, 2024.
REGISTRATION
Registration forms will not be accepted by mail, fax or e-mail. The registration process can only be completed online at www.emerysafety.com.

Registration is only $360.00 when paid before March 15, 2024 ($395.00 if received on or after March 15, 2024).
You can pay your registration fee online using a credit card or mail a check. With each payment option, your conference confirmation will be automatically generated when you submit your registration form online. If you pay by check your registration will not actually be complete until payment is received. All payments by check must be received by March 15, 2024.
As noted above, confirmation will only be provided during the online registration process. NO confirmations will be mailed. The registration deadline is firm, so you must get your registration in on time. Be sure to save a copy of your registration confirmation form because workshop assignments cannot be confirmed by telephone.
NOTICE: THIS CONFERENCE IS ELIGIBLE FOR “HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS” (HMEP) GRANT FUNDING THROUGH PHMSA. HMEP CAN PAY 80% OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE. CONTACT YOUR LOCAL LEPC FOR INFORMATION ON HOW YOU CAN APPLY FOR GRANT FUNDING TO ATTEND THIS TRAINING.
GROUP REGISTRATIONS
You may register multiple attendees at one time. Click the “duplicate” check box to auto-fill all the registrations with the first person’s information. Then you simply change any unique information for each individual as needed. You can review all the information on each individual before submitting the registrations.
PAYMENT
You will select your method of payment (either check or credit card) at the end of registration. If you select “Pay By Check” you will be able to download the invoice to provide your accounting department, but you are responsible for mailing the check. Payments by check must be received by March 15, 2024.
If you select “Pay By Credit Card” you will be able to make payment using the secure third party server.
TAX DEDUCTION
Tax law states certain education-related expenses including tuition, travel, lodging and meals are tax deductible if incurred to maintain or improve professional skills required in employment. Check with your tax professional for more specific information.
CERTIFICATES
Annual refresher training as required under CFR 1910.120 (q) can be achieved by attending conference courses. The employer is responsible for certifying that presentations qualify for refresher training.
